The Architectural Salvage Warehouse (ASW) is located on the first floor of the 1940 Sears Building located at the intersection of 23rd and Broadway. ASW sells historic building materials for the repair, rehabilitation, and preservation of Galveston’s built environment. All proceeds from our warehouse go towards operating funds for Galveston Historical Foundation's (GHF) Preservation and Conservation activites.

Our Inventory includes:

• Doors
• Windows
• Shutters
• Lumber
• Door & Window Hardware
• Balusters
• Decorative Woodwork (crown molding, bead-board, base-boards, chair rails, and trim)
• Furniture
• Rain Barrels

When searching for a particular item, it is best to check in often. We regularly receive new donations.

Materials and resources to donate?

We always accept donations of surplus historic materials. Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours Wednesday – Saturday, 9AM – 4PM, or arrangefor a pick-up by contacting Craig Cahill at 409-750-9108 or [email protected].

GHF is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
