Hollywood Producer's Montecito Home Featured in WSJ Mansion

Producer Michael Jaffe and his wife, Jann, spent two years building this shingle-style home in Montecito, Calif., inspired by the work of architect Robert A.M. Stern and the architecture they saw spending summers in Maine. They say they later spent approximately $2 million on construction of their new home, pool and cabana. ‘It’s a great Christmas tree house because of the foyer with the high ceilings,’ says Mrs. Jaffe, age 65. The 5,359-square-foot home, which was finished in 1997, has four bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths.
